The MVCC Professional Association Benefits Trust Fund Eligibility Policy

1. If an MVCC employee becomes a member of the Professional Association after six (6) months or more of continuous employment at the College in any non-PA position, that individual will have satisfied the six (6) month waiting period required by the Fund. Therefore, s/he will become eligible for benefits under the Fund within five (5) days of appointment to a PA position. Those appointed to PA positions on September 1, 2008 will become eligible for benefits under the Fund within five (5) days of the approval of this amendment by the Trustees of the MVCC PA Benefits Fund.

2. If an MVCC employee becomes a member of the Professional Association after a period of less than six (6) months of continuous employment at the College in any non-PA position, his/her term of employment at the College will be credited toward satisfying the six (6) month waiting period required by the Fund.
